Region’s carbon emissions doubled
Over the past 30 years , the middle-eastern continues of the arab world , has been in a constant tread towards development . This has had a positive impact on the region, which has allowed it to develop at an amazing rate, while on the other hand, this has taken its roll on the environment, through the emissions and burning of fossil fuels
First of all , it could be clear that these emissions are due to the constant development of the region , which has caused it to catch up to developed countries such as the USA and UK . As a result , they have created a great deal of emissions which harm the environment in the process , due to the abundance of fossil fuels and oil in the region . In addition, current statistics have shown that Qatar , has the largest carbon footprint in the region . Lastly, the UAE has already began activities to preserve the environment and secure a future to their generations yet to come .
In conclusion , the use of fossil fuels and the results of environmental damage are two sides of the same coin. One side have economical development, while the other is the pollution of the environment. The best solution is to use them conservatively.
